When we said we wanted to sell a million cans by the end of 2027, it sounded like a fun, round, slightly mad number. Then we started counting, and now it sounds like a job. As of this week we are at roughly 530,000. That is more than half, which is either reassuring or terrifying depending on the hour.
The boring part
A million cans is a lot of cans. It is also, when you spread it across enough cookouts, porches, and quiet Tuesdays, not impossible. We are not asking anyone to do anything heroic. We are asking people to keep a cold one in the fridge, which most of you were going to do anyway.
We will keep a running count on the community page so you can watch the bar fill up. It moves slowly, then all at once around long weekends. Memorial Day did real work for us this year.
The plan, such as it is
More taps, more markets, and a couple of seasonal cans to keep things interesting. The Pamplemousse radler is doing better than we expected, and the Midnight dark lager is quietly winning over people who swore they only drink the Pils.
If you want to help, the most useful thing you can do is drink a Hunky Dory and tell one person it was fine, really. That is the entire growth strategy. It is working so far.
